Join us for a Bright Lights Parent Workshop with the Peace of mind that your child/ren will be enjoying a fun program and pizza dinner on-site with our capable Bright Lights "Morahs" - teachers. This month we dive deep into Conscious Discipline as a means of gaining co-regulation tools.

About the event

Every month, the community is invited to step into Bright Lightsj for an informational workshop where you learn the approaches and gain the skills that we apply to support our little learners in their developmental journey. We are providing workshops in Conscious Discipline (Dr Becky Bailey), the Nurtured Heart Approach (Dr Howard Glasser) and specialty areas of supporting gross motor, fine motor, cognitive and verbal development. as well as developmental milestones. 

Workshop Schedule:

Sept 24th: Conscious Discipline Deep Dive 1 

Nov 5th: Conscious Discipline Deep Dive 2 

Dec 10th: Conscious Discipline Deep Dive 3 

Jan 28th: Supporting Development: 3 Tracks - Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, Pre-K 

Feb 25th: Nurtured Heart Deep Dive 1 

March 25th: Nurtured Heart Deep Dive 2 

April 29th: Nurtured Heart Deep Dive 3  

Workshop Schedule: 

5:30pm - Settling children in care program 

5:45pm - Workshop begins 

6:55pm - Workshop concludes, child pick up 

7:00pm - End of program + after hours care

Workshops are free to families of students currently attending Bright Lights and discounted to families that are waiting for their young lights to begin their Bright Lights learning journey. Families who are not yet a part of the Bright Lights family are welcome to join as well for a covert charge. This program includes the following:

  • Child care provided to all children of attending parents, between ages of 6 months - 14 years
  • Program of care is full of fun and games and may include a short, age-appropriate movie or screen-based activity.
